Important Info for US Citizens Entering Canada

ENTRY/EXIT REQUIREMENTS: U.S. citizens entering Canada must carry both proof of citizenship and identity. Documents that satisfy these requirements:

Valid U.S. passport

OR

NEXUS card

OR

Government-issued photo ID (e.g. Driver's License) AND proof of U.S. citizenship such as a U.S. birth certificate, naturalization certificate, or expired U.S. passport

Canadian law requires that all persons entering Canada must carry both proof of citizenship and identity. A valid U.S. passport or NEXUS card satisfies these requirements for U.S. citizens. If U.S. citizen travelers to Canada do not have a passport or approved alternate document such as a NEXUS card, they must show a government-issued photo ID (e.g. Driver's License) AND proof of U.S. citizenship such as a U.S. birth certificate, naturalization certificate, or expired U.S. passport.

testimonial Hi montreal nightlife, We had an awesome weekend! So glad I found you on the internet. We would have been clueless otherwise. Even the "older" kids in the group had a great time. All of your suggestions were perfect and everyone had a blast. Next time we're staying longer--the trip was definitely too short! And we were a little tired on the ride home considering we didn't get in on Sunday morning until 5:00 am and had to be at the bus station at 9:30 am. Montreal does not sleep and they know how to party! Thanks for all of your help. It was well worth it! testimonial end
