The first long weekend as we head from spring into summer is on the horizon, and in typical Montreal style the city will be buzzing for all three days. Here are some of the great parties being hosted in and around the island this weekend…

On Friday, Chalet Brossard on the South Shore is celebrating its second anniversary with specials on drinks and music by DJ Theo. Also that night at Salon Officiel (351 Roy East) DJ Mana, Paskal & Vesselinov, and DJ Dumais are spinning at Club UN.

On Saturday at Espace Griffintown they’re putting on the “Superparty,” as Speakeasy (founder VELVET ’09-’10 + Bengala) hooks up with Justin (Founder + Creative Director I LOVE NEON ’99-’09) and Nick Urli (Manager VELVET ’09-’10 – FUSQ) to bring you this monthly event all summer long. The upscale industrial warehouse hosts events that run from 10PM-6AM, bringing together DJs, artists, bar stars, hosts, and promoters to set the stage for epic nights to happen. There’s also full bar and bottle service till 3am. On the same night you can check out The Champ Fever, an after-party being held at Bains Douches hosted by Floyd Mayweather and Jean Pascal, or Therapy with Jojoflores & Carl IndySoul at Club UN.

The weekend festivities don’t stop there – on Sunday Royale is at Pure Nightclub with Keith Dean, and Siamo Insime is at Moomba Supperclub for their biggest Italian celebration yet.

Call Montreal Nitelife if you’d like to add any of these events to your upcoming weekend itinerary.
